Below are some frequently asked questions. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for please contact us and will respond as soon as possible.

When are the courts open?

Each day from 8.00am to 10pm. Some courts may be booked for coaching, club activity or event.

How do I join?

Visit our membership page. Payment is made online. Courts must be booked in advance online.

Do I have to be a resident of Swindon to join?

No, anyone can join.

I only want to play once or twice, what can I do?

We offer Pay & Play tennis, charged at £6 per hour per court. Simply register, visit out court booking page and pay for your court hour and enter the access code detailed on your confirmation email at the gate.

If I have purchased an annual membership am I tied into a contract?

No. You initially pay for one year’s 'membership' and, if you want to carry on using the courts after that, pay for each year's renewal as you go.

What is a household membership?

We have two membership options, an Annual Pass and a Club Pass. Both options give you and your household access to the Pass'. When registering, you can confirm and add who is within your household. 

Can I bring a friend or non-member to have a hit?

No. Only players from within your household can access the benefits of an Annual or Club Pass. Any freinds or family living outside of your immediate household, would have to become a member to use our facilities.

If you are looking to book a court as a one-off you can get your freind/non-member to book a court under their name as a Pay & Play booking - this would allow you play together if they do not wish to take out an annual membership. But the simplest way and the most affordable way is for them to join as an annual member! 

If I have joined online for a year when does my membership start?

The membership will be activated when you register your email address and create a password for a booking account online.

What happens if I join halfway through the year? Do I get a reduced fee to pay?

No, there is no reduced fee. From the time you activate your account that is when your full year starts. 

Once I have joined can I relinquish part way through my year?  

No, once you have joined and paid for your card this will last a year and not be part refunded for any reason.

Is coaching available?

Yes. Please refer to our Coaching page for more information.

Can I hire equipment?

Unfortunately we do not offer that facility. We do have a tennis shop in the pavilion where you can purchase all your tennis equipment needs. 

Can I bring my dog into the courts?

No, dogs are not allowed.

How do I cancel a booking?

You can cancel your booking online from your profile page when logged into our website. If you are booking as a Pay & Play you can cancel your booking for free upto 24 hours, after which you will be charge. We do not offer refunds for courts cancelled outside of the cancellation window, or for adverse weather.

Are the tennis courts accessible?

The tennis courts are accessible by wheelchair through the usual gate entrances. Our pavilion is also fully comliant and we have disable toilets and baby changing facilities. 

If I see damage to the courts or anti-social behaviour who should I tell?

If you notice the courts are damaged or unsafe please contact us on 01793 200118 so we can investigate and arrange repairs.

If you witness anti-social behaviour on courts from users that is not in keeping with those set out in the terms and conditions, please also report this on the number above so users can be addressed and appropriate action taken.
